So here are some pics of my tank, Before and after i guess. Ill post some newer pics later since the newest one is actually 5 or 6 months old now and some stuff is no longer in that tank. Anyways feel free to show your 65 tall tanks as well.

65 and 70 talls arent the norm. most tend to have 75 or 90' if its a 4 footer, if its a 3, they stick with the smaller breeders.

im teetering on a 65 or 50 at the moment, so i wouldnt mind seeing some more.

try the search in the gallery section, thats how i came across a few 65g photos

nice looking tank...pretty loaded up w/ corals...Mine is pretty young, but i am going for SPS dominant..

i dig the size and it is the biggest the fiance would let me get...I will try to get some more pics but i have a few in my gallery

the trickiest part is getting all the equipment to fit underneath...

I am subscribing to this thread, i'll try to get some "in tank" shots in the next day or two...gotta figure out where i put my battery charger for the camera.

Here's mine. It's not the prettiest tank ATM, but I think it'll be nice when it fills in. If I can get a better picture tomorrow I'll replace this one

Nice clean looking sump opperation you got going on there. I wish i had my tank drilled to begin with and i wish i got a better stand with space for a sump under it. Oh well i suppose ill wait until i setup another tank or upgrade my tank. Jer Z

It's working much better than the SSB did, nutrients aren't building up any more -- between skimming wet and the chaeto, PO4 and NO3 are steadily declining.
The angels (flagfin, flame, CB & flavicauda pygmy) don't bother a thing. Of all things reef, angels are my favourite. It took a few tries to get a healthy flame and I'm very attached to the flagfin -- if it comes down to it and I have to choose, I'll take the fish over the corals

Those look like a size I'd love to upgrade to. I no longer have room in my home for my previous 90 and my current 30 seems too tiny to do what I want to. With a 65 like that I could have the rock arranged exactly like my 30 but have twice as much room for fish swimming, more room upfront for a clam or two, and more water always is good.

Anyway, what are the dimensions of the 65 and 50? They are 3 footers corrent? Kinda like a 45 but with more room front to back?

65's are one of my favorite tanks. They are kind of cubish and yet have lots of room.

Your tanks all look great!

ACBlinky-
Glad to see your transition to BB is working out well for you.

I will take some of my new 65g All Glass Megaflow aquarium for ya soon. Just getting rid of my last soft corals first. I did a well spaced rock design. Instead of barebottom this time, I added a fine layer of 2mm sized aragonite that I hoping I can keep clean during water changes. The open rock work should, {notice "should", }, allow for siphon cleaning access.

It also has lots of flow to help keep detritus suspended, with the help of a Tunze 6080 stream pump.

I'm having a custom 90gal made. It's the same dimensions of a 65, but it's 30" tall instead of 24." (36x18x30)

For the sump, I'm just using a 30gal AGA with a bulkhead fitting. Downdraft skimmer w/ ozone, chaeto, Live rock, phos reactor, and purigen.

Let's try that again without the link...

It's about 3 weeks old at this point. 45 lbs of Fiji and 55 lbs of base rock.
