Live Mysis in Central Ohio?
Where can I find some live mysis in central ohio. I am trying to feed my 2 purple anthias which aren't eating flake, artic pods, or frozen mysis. I was hoping to get some live mysis and if they eat start mixing frozen with live.

I agree with Tourkid- youve only had them a few days now; dont be too stressed about them taking time to settle in. Its pretty common- especially with Tuka.
I dont know of anyone around with live mysis, but why not try live brine? Its easy enough to set up a 2l bottle, toss in an airstone and some eggs to hatch out. If you use them in the first few days they are still nutritious, and certainly small enough to tempt your anthias. Brine shrimp eggs are easy to get at most aquarium stores. Cheap, and a bottle will last you a Long time.

Alright. I'll take it a bit slower. I haven't lost a fish in years and really don't want to lose one now. Maybe I should invest in brine shrimp eggs.... hmmm. Alright, I'll give them a go.

You may also try some garlic extreme or similar product for your frozen mysis. Sometimes the garlic stimulates them to eat.

Haha... yeah. I just wasn't sure I wanted to setup everything. ------------------------------------------------- Buckeye1 I was wondering if that would work. I have some garlic product laying around and thought about giving that a try. |

Tried the garlic and then added some cyclops.... why is it always the last thing you try? The cyclops works! I'll just have to slowly mix in some other foods and see if I can get them on some other stuff.
