is this to much light

I have a coralife light with 2 - 65 watt 10,000 and 2 - 65 actinic lamps in it.... I run them together for about 10-12 hrs per day.

Is this to much light for mushrooms, leather and a gorgonian??

should i switch back to the standard lights that came with the aquarium?

thanks, james

Nope- assuming they are on your 55g, thats a pretty middle-of-the-road lighting scheme actually. Your mushrooms and softies should handle that just fine. The standard, normal output fluorescents that come with most tanks are almost worthless for keeping photosynthetic corals, so stick with the coralife/compacts you have now.
