Lightbulb Freshwater Tank Forum Sites

Well after many many years of tinkering with my 55 gal saltwater tank I've decided to give a try to a freshwater system.

Can someone point me into the direction of a forum or site similar to RC so I can start my research & the discovery of freshwater tanks.

I appreciate the assistance

Thanks I'll look into those sites.

DW - I wasn't sure where I should post the question so I figured I would get ousted no matter what since I was inquiring about freshwater. My mind is so trained for saltwater I have no idea where to start.

Their sorta 1/2 fresh and 1/2 salt ! I go there as well !

Promoting a site that you're associated with has never been allowed.

I was just razzin you a bit. Enjoy the freshwater side! That's gonna be fun. I wonder what that would feel like, coming from salt to fresh. most people do it the other way round.

try www.real.aquariums.have.salt.org

whatever you do, don't spend over 100 bucks to set it up. If you don't have enough leftovers from saltwater to set up a wickid cool freshwater tank, i'd be amazed.

Wow, I appreciate all the replies and posts. I'm going to check out a few of the mentioned sites and see what I can come up with.

DW- Nice Yoda....Maybe that it my problem with saltwater "Do or Do Not but Try Is Not An Option." I'm tired of trying or should I say spending the money, LOL.

Holly Batman, I was at the local retailer today and FW fish are so much cheaper, Woooohooooo

Hubris - I will be using the setup I have for my saltwater. Looks like the only thing I will need to purchase is substrate and fish.

Privatejoker - Being a Florida Native the ocean is in my blood. Maybe I need a nano setup too come to think about it.
