Tank Heaters/Controllers

I would like to get some opinions on heaters and controllers people find to work the best. I will be purchasing a heater/controller for the 300 gallon and wanted to get some feedback.

So what heaters are you using? I would prefer a titanium.

I use 2-300watt Finnex titanium heaters on a Ranco controller for my 210. I have a 3rd heater, but haven't found a need for it, so its sits in the box as back-up.

Primary Finnex titanium tube only 300w at 78.7 (AC3). Secondary Finnex titanium tube only 300w on 78.5 (AC3). A backup Finnex titanium 150w dial control set to 75 (stand alone).

I have had 3 Finnex controllers fail in 6 months. The tubes continue to work but I will never use another controller. I'm using the AquaMedic controllers now and so far---so good.

My 500W Finnex titanium heater died exactly 15 days past it's 60 day warranty. I won't purchase another Finnex heater.
