Light/bulb question...

I bought replacement bulbs for my 29BC and the bulb that I got was the same wattage (36W) and fits in the socket, but was just a little bigger, maybe 1/2" longer and just a little larger diameter. I got the plastic cover back on just fine, but was wondering if there are any problems that might arise? Thanks.

As long as the bulb turns on OK, It should be fine.
