Cleaning Skimmers

How do you guys clean the inside of the body of the skimmer. I can't fit my arm in mine. I dont have a huge skimmer. There is some hair algae and even coraline algae growing on the side that is getting light, how would i clean this??

Get a baby bottle cleaner. Dump white/clear vinigar in the body and use the baby bottle cleaner to scrub the gunk out of it. I will sometimes fill the skimmer with the stuff and let it soak. Yea, mine takes about a gallon, but does the trick.

Put it in a large container, fill it with water and dump in a bunch of distilled white vinegar and fire it up. Have enough vinegar in there to foam it up good. Self cleaning!

I've cleaned mine only once in the last year and half. Been putting it off as my skimmer took forever to break in. Now that I cleaned it, I am having to break it in again. I hate cleaning skimmers.

The way I do it is just fill the skimmer half and half with viniger and water and let it stand overnight.

I like sjm817 idea. That is the way I am going to go next time.
