tang not eating veggies, only brine shrimp

I bought a chevron tang and it doesnt eat any algea,seaweed, caulerpa, it loves brine shrimp though. any ideas on what to try? I dont what it to get malnutrition.Thanks

Are you feeding it live brine or frozen? Have you try soaking the algae in any food enticer? You could also try to combine the algae and the brine together. How long have you had it for?

San Fran Bay has a Spirulina enriched brine shrimp if that helps.

Right now I'm giving it frozen brine shrimp enriched with spiruina, And I've only had it for about a month now. I've had other tangs and they always ate the macro from my refugium, but this shows no intrest.

no worries . Just keep feeding him the brine. He will break out of that in time. You should put brine, and of course other types of frozen food. he WILL eventually eat the other stuff to. And when he does, then stop the brine.

Im a angel fanatic. ANd I had angels doing the same thing. cheers
