beware, negative feedback for ikinne1

http://archive.reefcentral.com/forum...readid=1093430

I paypaled ikinne1 for the calcium reactor 2 and a half weeks ago. I have nothing to show for it. I have not heard anything back from him since he said he received the money. DO NOT deal with him, he is a bad seller. I currently filed for a dispute with paypal to get back my money.

The sellers name is Ian Kinney. Paypal resolved the claim but since the seller has no money in his account, I am out all of my money right now. Mods can you suspend his reefcentral account or do something about it?

Did you use CC to pay? If so I would contact the CC company soon. Paypal suck when you run into problem.

ianiwane I cant speak for the mods, but they dont want to get involved . They have way more to do than get involved in disputes about money. You should be careful when buying stuff like that . Im sure you will get a simmilar answer from them. There are other ways to deal with guys like that. I never buy anything from "people getting out of the hobby" because they could care less about it

Elite, I did not use a credit card. I had money in my account so most of the money came from there, the rest came from my bank account. Live and learn I guess.

Redox, I figured as much. What "other ways."

True, we do not get involved very often in these types of issues. RC is not eBay. The selling forums are a service to our members only. As stated by redox, please use discretion when purchasing on these forums. Should he try to sell again here then the situation could change. If you see that then please inform me.
