nano skimmer; tunze 9002

not sure if i should post it here or in the equipment section, but here's a try anyways;

ive been reading up on the Tunze 9002 nano skimmer

it says its rated for up to 52gal for a soft coral tank.

http://www.jlaquatics.com/phpstore/s...t_ID=tz-ps9002

would it be good enough on a standard 55gal FOWLR tank with a medium bio-load? (more like 49gal less 4gal for rocks and stuff so more like 45gals of water or so)

i just need something to suplement my regular water changes and stuff...

or should i got for a regular skimmer such as a AquaC remor (rated for 50-150 gals)

I have one in my moderatelyly stocked 30 with mostly finicky LPS.

It does a good job. I think it would probably run better with a higher bioload.

It's a great little skimmer. No regrets.

You could always give one a try for less than the Aqua C, and you shouldn't have too much trouble selling it if it doesn't fit your needs.

I actually have the Reefpack 200. And I love it.
Just my .02.
