Lineatus Fairy Wrasse question...

will it do okay in a 50g reef? and also, does it do better in a harem or would it be fine by itself? And, just one more: will a six-line wrasse pick on it?

I do not know about the 50 gallon tank question.
I have a male Lineatus in my tank & it is doing just fine.
I also have a sixline in the tank, I put the Lineatus in the tank after the six-line was in the tank for months w/no problems.
I have read stories that some six-lines can be nasty to newcomers I guess I have just been lucky

it says in some places that I have read on that a 50g tank is the minimum size tank they need but I also know these can either be outdated, or even just false... so just thought I'd ask. just out of curiousity, could you post a pic of him in your tank? PPPLLLEEAAASSSEEEE? lol

I have a lineatus in a 55 right now and he is doing great. I tried keeping 2 in the same tank but the more dominate would always bite and chase the less dominate lineatus so I had to separate them. As far as the six line I don’t have any experience, but my lineatus chase my mitratus butterfly around every once in a while and always flashes at him. My lineatus and laboutei get along great wish I could say the same thing for my mystery wrasse…

55 is fine for a lineatus. A harem would be super, but very expensive

other inhabitants: true perc. pair, jawfish, pistol shrimp/goby pair, purple firefish, neon goby, 2 azure damsels, six-line, and I might eventually add one more... its a bit overstocked but I have a way over-sized skimmer. Octopus 150
