So B96, are you going to get yourself a fishing license and try your hand at bimac-catching? Since the law says aquarium resale is illegal I might have to start making annual trips to San Diego to collect for myself.

Take note of the places you find them and the techniques you use in case I do end up coming out at some point!

I have some references lying around that talk about growth rates and breeding seasons. I'll try to scan them in because it'll have good info about how big you can expect to find them.

Sounds good, I know there was a newer poster at TONMO who mentioned someplace up North around Cardiff/Carlsbad, I believe he even posted some pics.

Hopefully TONMO will be back up soon so I can search for those posts and also contact him to find out where he was going...

Don't give up on TONMO! The site was hacked and Tony is working on it. However, he also has a demanding job and will get it up as soon as possible. I know we all miss it!

That message which makes it sound like the bills haven't been paid is so misleading - it's just what the host uses as its error messge!

There is a TONMO group on myspace and you can read the latest news from Tony there (plus posts from the regulars):

http://groups.myspace.com/tonmo

You can read everything there but if you want to post, you have to join (free) - of course, you'd want to It's supposed to be the latest thing!

Is the site down again? I was able to read up on my messages earlier this afternoon but now I can't get in again.

It won't open anymore on any of the computers in my home network. I'll try from work tomorrow. Weirdest thing, maybe I've been banned

Hey there! Sorry about all the problems recently.

I'm not sure what the concerns are for the past two days (I thought the issues were behind us), but I am hearing from folks that they are having trouble. I'm not sure why or what the issue is, but I'll look into it. I'm getting there no problem, and clearly many others are as well.

Tony
