Video-Cleaner Shrimp Molting - Very Cool

So last weekend I picked up 2 cleaner shrimp at a great price through my local club (CTARS) group buy for $12.50 a pop. I got one for a friend so I have 2 in my tank.

They were looking extra friendly tonight so I decided to tap the glass a little and play with them. I pulled out my camera to video tape and I caught one of the shrimps molting!!!

I always wondered how they actually did the molting process, so now I know and you can too.

You will see the 2 shrimps and the one in the back flips upside down for a few seconds and then shoots out of the old shell. Check it out.
