Just a heads up, and this came from DIYReef:

XM bulbs are defective. They believe they have fixed the problem and have replacements shipping out. I purchased one 3 weeks ago, and it was dead in about 12 days. FWIW, DIYReef is sending me a new bulb free of charge...I just have to drop the old bulb in the new box and send it back.
