using 15 gal aquarium as resevoir

if i use a 15 gal aquarium as a resevoir will i get any algae growth since its glass and light can penetrate...

using it for what, if its just to hold ro water, then you probably wont, but if it connected to the tank, then yea you might

If you are worried about algae growth you can go and get black aquarium backing and put it on all sides of the reservoir so no light gets in, then slap something ontop of it and you dont' have to worry about algae
