2 Years of Progression......

I thought it would be cool to see my tank over two years. The tank will be 3 Years old in June 2008. Enjoy

One of the best tank I've seen so far. Are you running Zeovit system?

Thanks,

The 20K are more pleasing to the eye. The 10K's brought out more intense coloration and growth though. Not to mention they were only 250W and not 400W like the 20K's. I may end up going back to 10K's and see what happens. I highly recommend both formats of the bulb, 10K and 20K.

20K with two Daylight VHO's and one Actinic. The rest of the pictures after that are with all Actinic VHO. It doesn't really look that blue in person.

I love the 20K's. The DE 250W Pheonix 14K's were my favorite. They gave me the best colors and growth yet! Although I did have the 10K xm's running for only three months so its hard to compare those two. But the 20K XM 400W have been nothing but great to me and the corals. Easy on the eyes and reasonable growth. The XM 10K in the 250W version was insanely bright, I can only imagine what it would look like in the 400W version.

No ZEO here. Although I have begun to use PRODIBIO. The probiotic form of reefing is definitely the wave of the future. It is the next "big thing" in reefing. For now I am very happy with the PRODIBIO, it is already helping my tank look better. I may in the future begin to add some ZEO supplements other than the "basic 4". For now i am very happy with the way the tank is maturing.

Thank you all for you kind comments and praise.

I frag a bit too much sometimes.

The orange caps are always being fragged along with the Green slimmer, blue slimer, tri-color, Purple Monster and Bennet Tort. I haven't really fragged much in the last few months, kinda want to let things grow out a bit and see what happens.

Sunny...Very nice looking tank...progression photos ROCK!
im a big fan of the XM-10K and my 4-bulb VHO actinics.
One of the best looks all around and as you mentioned the GROWTH is awesome with those bulbs.

Keep up the good husbandry!
