Thats one of the nicest "smaller sized" mixed reefs I have seen.

I like the SSB..

Here's a few shots of my 50 gallon. Single 400 watt Radium with 2 T5 UVL super actinics. I'm working on the aptasia problem with some berghias. Does anyone know if a meanurus wrasse will eat these?

I loved my 400 watt Radiums.. Wish I could get the same growth and color out of a 250 DE as I did with the Radium 400..

I ran SE 250's and 400's on another tank, then went to 250 DE on that same tank. Didn't care much for them.

Went back to a 400 watt Radium on this tank and am liking the results.

Yea I know what you mean. I had 400 watt Radiums on my 120 and loved them. I have not been happy with any bulb since then. Most bulbs are too blue or too yellow and seem to wash out yellows and reds..

I used to run 400w Radium bulb with SLS pulse start ballast in my 150g. It look really nice but the color shifted too fast. I have to change the bulb every 4 months.

What ballast and is that SE or DE?

What fixture and does it have supplementation?

it is just a regular ballast, no supplementation, and it is a SE bulb.
