Feather Duster, Feeding

A few days ago i bought my first feather duster and it really doesnt come out very much so I called the LFS where I got it From and they Said I should peel off about 1/2 inch of the tube, can I do that? Also, I usually feed my tank with a capfull of marine snow every day is this enough for a tube worm?

Thanks,

I sure wouldn't peel the tube. Leave it be. Maybe he just needs to get used to his new surrondings. Did you acclimate him?
I also think a capful of marine snow every day is too much. Of course, I don't know what all you have that need it.
Also, on the feather duster, you did place him in the sand, didn't you?

What all do you have in the tank as far as corals go? Also, what type of lights on your tank?

Well then, I would only use maybe 2 (not quite full) capfuls a week. I would also upgrade your lights to at least vho. I really don't know much about lights so take that for what it's worth. I do have 2 250w 12ks on my tank and have softies and lps.
