I'm considering doing something after the holidays to have acan/micro paly lovers get together and do a bit of a swap. Is there much interest?
is this the same swap, or is it going to be an everything one?

Great Mark - I hope to make it as well even if it's just to learn from others.

Great!!!! This will be lots of fun. Went to reef creations and picked up an LED unit.
Through the URSNY side want to do some show and tell with the par meter. Can look at MH 250's 400 DE, some PC's, VHO's and the LED.
Should be great fun.
Then I was going to have the PAR meter travel down to the Southern tier, so you guys can get some readings on your tanks. Please get pics and post... then someone can bring it back to Rochester on their Journeys or someone can pick it up at the swap meeting you are going to have. (I'm sure I will have hockey with my son so wont be able to make it)...

Kent E....thanks for the offer...I will order pizza and get some chips and coockies....so I think I have it covered.
All I want in return is for people to have a good time and some "baby hammers"

that sounds like it will be a great time. Which LED unit did you get?? also that would be awsome if we could borrow the par meter down here in the southern tier. it would be awsome to see how different ballast's burn the same bulbs differntly, cause i know we have at least 3 different ballasts burning the same XM10,000 175watters. Always love road trips especailly to places with great LFS's so there'll be no problems with bringing it back up. wish i had some baby hammers to bring to ya, ill have to look closely tonight.

Nice shot. Yes that is what I'm looking for. When I did my octobubble, I just put the whole coral in a tub and used a paring knife and scraped them off. Then I used a "touch" of super glue and glued it to a shell.

That's a weird looking wall hammer. Can you post a better pic that shows skeleton- maybe swish the tentacles so they retract fully before taking the shot?
