Anyone know how to make a temp controller for a clip on fan?

Put the thermister near the light source and adjust 10K pot to turn on and off the fan at the desired temp.

All parts are available at ratshack for less than $4 (less fan and 12VDC xformer).

I could never get that circuit to work. I ended up just buying a Ranco dual stage temp controller. I run my chiller, fans, and heaters with it. Works great. I've heard mixed reviews about the DIY above.

good choice on the double stage ranco. I bought a single stage and I am kicking myself. Wish I could trade up.

That curcuit is cool, but looks like more tweaking than I have time for.

Either or...but not both at the same time.
