Pacific Coast Powerheads, better than Tunze?

Never heard of these pumps before, but they claim to push 5,000-12,00 GPH at 38 watts. They look just like Tunze pumps from the pictures. $240 for each pump. Also has a multi-controller.

Here's the link

I'm sure you will get the same legendary reliability and top customer service from PCI as you do from Tunze....oh wait. That may be a little harder to knock off.

No doubt about it.

You don't get "legendary" customer service from Tunze - you get it from Roger. BIG difference! I've said this a few times here on RC: Tunze in Canada has some of the worst customer service I've had the displeasure of suffering through. I assumed Roger's customer service = Tunze customer service and that I'd receive the same thing here. Couldn't have been more wrong. Pacific Coast customer service can't be any worse than Tunze Canada so I might as well save a couple hundred bucks on future purchases and get zero customer service from Pacific Coast on par with Tunze Canada.

Thanks for the clarification. Yes. Tunze = Roger here. Bummer that you dont have the same level of support up north.

PCI products in general are hit and miss. I'd still stick with the Stream.
