water changes because of copper
I found out the hard way that copper is no good in a reef tank. I removed the copper adapter after being in the tank for a week and put in a couple bags of chemipure but I want to be aggressive with the water changes.
I have a 75 gallon, would a 20 gallon water change every other day be too stressful on the tank and it's inhabitance? would you guys recommend more or less. anyone expose copper to there tank? if so how did the cleanup turn out? Last edited by robszar; 06/11/2007 at 01:08 PM. |

Try some polyfilters.

never really got many responses to this questions, any input would be helpful:

No it wouldnt be to stressful at all.
JUst match temps and salinity. I have done many back to back water changes with no detrimental effects. In fact everything was positive except for my attitude after all the work.
