Nano Cube DX sucks!
LOL, bought a Nano Cube DX full setup from my LFS and IT SUCKSSSS.
Only reason being that the moonlighting AND the daylight/actinics are linked into one adapter and therefore one outlet. Thereby debunking the use of a separate timers to control daylight and moonlight. Yeaa....to think I have to use my finger to flip the switch, primitive? or am I just lazy? .

you could always splice the moonlight from the daytime/actinics, and attach it to a plug (they are less than a dollar at lowes).

My nc is great. I agree they need to rethink the design.

I'm with gregrocks79,they are pretty good tanks. But I did try the timers and it made me mad too.

I mean to have to turn my timer back on manualy, turn the PC switch to off, THEN turn the LEDs on is a joke, and I like jokes, but not this one! haha

The Moonlights can be seperated power wise from the actual lights and powered by themselves. You just need a 12v power supply and it can be done.
When we did the light mod to our 12g and added another light we separated the moonlights and put them on their own power supply. We also added a ballast so we could have the actinics sepearate from the Daylights I know its a little $$ to do it that way but its so much better. The AP tanks have all theirs separate from the factory and is nicer to deal with. My son has a AP24 that has switches for all 3 already there.

Its a shame that you have to buy extra stuff just to get it on a light schedule. Aquapod is the way to go. More lighting, more options, less money.
