Lumen Bright Reflector covrage

I have a 120gal 48x24x24 tank and wanted to know if a single Lumen Bright Mini would cover a 2x2 area 7-8 inches off the tank? Should I go with the Regular's, they just seem big for a 48x24x24 tank.

Thanks for any input, just looking to upgrade my light coverage.

Well if you mean the reflector is 8 inches off the water than the bulb would be 12 inches, which should be fine for a 2x2 foot area - have them closer together than exactly centred. If you can go higher the better. You have to account for coral growth down the line. Raising lights for growth is something people often overlook. I would go with the minis.
