500g skimmer plans wanted

I posted in DYI and my local forum but not much luck yet.
I'de like to DYI a needle wheel type skimmer for a 500g total volume system I'm planning. I'de also like to hear recommends for manufactured skimmers for this volume.

Elliot, maybe I could come see it sometime.

The other two look exactly what I'm after. Do they work well?
Who built them?

it works very good.I am very happy with it.It produces a steady nog.I never get the skimmer going nuts when I do a water change or over feed.It skims very steady.I always had problems with my other skimmers overflowing when I would shut the power off and then turn it back on,water changes, things like that.I have it skimming a bit wet but not very wet.I find when using the wet neck option the top of the skimmer neck stays cleaner. You still get some crud but no where near what it gets without the wet neck on,so I do see that it works. When you say the chamber do you mean from the flange to the top of the skimmer (where tho foam falls over)?Thats about 11 1/2"

I'm gonna assume this is a custom skimmer. I couldn't find anything on the website for one this size.

From the base of the Bubble plate to the base of the Cone would be the reaction chamber.

If your stopping by Elliott's place you should drive the extra mile to my new place and you can take a peek at my Dart NW skimmer that was custom made by Spazz and Bill Wann of Volcano Skimmer fame. LMK

evolust, I'm going on record that when you sell your big Dart NW skimmer, I'm first in line (notice I said when, not if, just investing in the future )

This is a DIY dual Beckett running off a Sequence Marlin. Its design I based off of the Barr skimmer.
