Brain Healer needed
Does any one have ideas that will help the tissue from dieing back on a Welleso and a Lobo?
I got the Lobo after it had begun to receed. In my tank the recession stoped and started to slowly reverse. The Welleso was perfect. Suddenly I have recession on both brains and a frogspawn that wont open. My water parameters read great. Alk 8, pH 8.3, phos 0, nitrate 0. I dont know what the calc level is. I dose kalk every other day, so I assume the calc is at a healthy level. I m still searching for the culprit, but what can I do to help the brains heal? |

If they are in the tank in your sig, then get them some shade immediately!
That is too much light in a 40 for brains to be happy. Maybe after a slow acclimation of 6 months or so, you could keep them under that amount of light. But not right now. After you shade them, try and target feed them to help them heal. Don't move them anymore than necessary and they may bounce back. HTH
