starting up

I have a 20 long with 25 lbs live sand set up three days now. I am thinking about adding 20-25 lbs live rock this weekend. Filtration is a Skilter and a Berlin skimmer. Live rock would be bought from Rochesters reef in Grand Haven,MI so it's cured and ok rock. Do I need the PC lights to cycle the tank for a couple of weeks or would flouresent lighting work for this?
All thoughts welcome. Fred

Flourescent would be fine. Personally I'd loose the skilter.... but maybe other's will have input on it. Liverock and your skimmer and possibly a fuge down the road will be the only filtration you will need.

you can use the skilter, but its definitely not required, your system should work fine without it
