Thumbs up I got some new coral [Lots of pics]

Got an order of coral this morning. They gave me lots of extra duncan heads than I ordered and an extra acan polyp too. I'm very happy with the purchase. Anyway here's the pics:

Just got them all in the tank:

My camera wouldn't focus on the dendro so all the shots of it were bad, but here's a couple.

Thanks guys. The Rhyzo ate some mysis today but otherwise I couldn't get them to eat. I'm going to try again on Monday though and they should be settled and hungry.

Heh, thanks Mike. It's a good size. It at least triples from when it is closed up (like in the picture where I just got them in the tank) to when it puffs up. I worry that it will hurt my orange zoos. I also worry a lot that it will brush up against my frogspawn and war will begin. I have been thinking about getting rid of the frogspawn for a while now but I like it I just don't like it's nematocysts . Anyway I would probably just replace it with a prettier one with green and pink tips (at LFS; very nice) but I know I just need to put an acro in it's place and be done with it.

Good gosh, after looking at the pics of the rhizo, I have to try and somehow get a rhizo for my tank. The dendro and the duncan are like so small compared to that rhizo.

Is the rhizo the anemone looking thing with a red center and see through tentacles? If not, what is that?
That thing is SWEET looking..

Yeah I got it from captive. Yeah the Rhyzo is way big compared to the dendro and duncan. I think it's just a little bigger than my Crocea clam.

shinosuke- Yeah, that's it

Hey guys I got more pics. They are better this time. I repositioned the Rhizo so the mouth goes vertical instead of horizontal. This makes him look a lot better in my tank because of the way the current is. He looks like a little fire in my tank. it's really cool. Beautiful coral. He did sting my hammer though but not too bad and it's good to know that if something happened he would win. I think he also stings whats left of my Leptastrea. Last night when I was looking at him after the lights were off he was puffed up really huge. He was starting to touch my acan that isn't even close to getting touched during the day. No ill affects on the acan though. So far he's eaten cyclop-eeze, mysis, brine, and scallop. The other corals seem to like mysis a lot better than brine. Two of my duncans spit out a big ball of brine shortly after eating it.

Night shot

A little bit blurry... just after eating.

Those corals look awesome. I used to have them in my tank until my fish figured out that if they poked at them after eating they would spit out their food and the fish would get an extra meal. Since coral are easier to get out of the tank than fish you know which ones had to go. Just make sure you keep enough room around them so they don't sting each other.

Might want to double check those red little objects around the corals in your last two pictures, unless they're pieces of your substrate almost looks as if you have a red-planaria flatworm outbreak starting.

I got my stuff from thecaptivereef.com. The stuff they have is expensive, but that's because almost all of it is rare. The coral they have are fairly priced for being what they are. Fragglereef.com gets some good stuff in every once in a while too.

The red things on the sand are cyclop-eeze. I just got done feeding. Thanks for the concern though

That Rhizo is awesome. I got an order in from thecaptivereef also - couldn't afford a Rhizo so I got a Balano Ponderosa.

Thanks for sharing those awesome pictures!
