whiptail threadfin
Have been getting conflicting opinions on whether this fish, PENTAPODUS NEMURUS, whiptail threadfin bream is reef safe, when I purchased it was told it was, then latter told by another it was not. I have seen no evidence that it is causing any problems(in the tank 1 month now) does anyone know of any potential problems
thanks |

I have read that as he grows to about 7.9 inches, he may eat ornamental crustaceans, snails and worms.

I think this is a blue whiptail. However, they are undescribed and in Kuiter's book, they are written as Pentapodus sp.
So this is not a Pentapodus nemurus and according to my knowladge, there isnt a fish called P. nemurus either. You can check the link below for a picture; http://www.reefimages.com/cgi-reefim...rs&slide=9.jpg
