Just be careful that the rockwork doesn't slide or move, or you could risk scratching your tank, acrylic or galss.

Sindjin, if you are talking about placing the rock on the bottom of the tank, I wouldn't think that's a problem, tough I have done mine on a thin layer of sand, placed the rock, then added more sand. If your talking about the sides of the tank I would worry about not being able to clean the glass. I keep mine about 3" away from the sides so I can get my cleaning brush in there. Any closer and I start to worry about causing an avalanche while cleaning the glass. Hope this helps.

I lean big pieces on the side glass but am soon to redo the tanks aquascape and when I do I will make sure the rocks are far enough away where I have a little room to clean anywhere.

It's been like that for months it won't break your glass.

Thanks for the replies!

I wanted to build a diagonal pile in one corner, almost the full height of the tank. Then a smaller one in the other corner that comes out in front of the taller one. SO Im just trying to figure out if its ok to lean all the rock against the corners.

I am using Starboard on the bottom so Im not too worried about that!

Thanks again!
