Help Fish dying

OK,

After having a full Reef Tank I decided to change to a FOWLR tank. I moved homes, waited 2 weeks and then put fish into my tank. This Saturday, 3 fish died and I have no clue on why.

I am new at FOWLR tanks, any suggestions?

I did notice /I think) ICH on my fish. Very small white spots and lots of them. I know I can probably use copper to treat them but it is not my first choice.

What do you suggest? Yesterday I checked my levels and my Nitrates and ammonia where a little high. But I feel that this is due to the dead fish. I pulled two out but I can not find the third.

I modified my skimmer to work "wetter" and I did a 10% water change last night.

Should I use stress coat in my tank? What else can I do?

I appreciate the help.

stress coat is nothing but snake oil... if you have an ammonia problem, I'd try some biospira if your LFS has it or Stability... Ich looks like little grains of salt on your fish... your description matches it. Also when you moved, did you have an ammonia source in your tank for it to cycle?

It cycled... I am not sure if my LFS carries those products due to me being in Mexico. What is it and they might have something similar.

bio-spira is live bacteria cultures to get your cycle started, or to help it along.
