Exclamation Mandarin Stopped Eating!!!!!

Hi,

About a week ago I bought this really nice male mandarin. He was eating frozen food (brine and mysis shrimp) on the first day but for the last three days he has stopped eating and only picks off the rocks.

My tanks is 4yrs old and lots of live mysis in the mornings. It has about 60-70lbs of rock and the tank is 55g. The inhabitants are:

1x mandarin
2x green chromis
1x Coral beauty
1x cleaner shrimp
1x emerald mythrax crab.

Would frozen blood worms get him back into the eating spirit again?

Perky

Perky,

I think your fine with the Mandarin, he didn't stop eatting. He probably likes the live food that you have in your tank more then the frozen ones. I think 60/70lb LR that is 4 years old is very good for your mandarin. It picking at the rock is it eatting the stuff(pods) on the liverock.

I think it is good enough..You can try doing partial water change maybe around 10% to 20%.
