Found something cool yesterday..

Hey guys, I thought i should share this...

When i got up and look at my tank yesterday.. I found this..

I didnt expect my True Perc would mate with a False Perc.. but they did.. pretty cool.. that not all..

My Chromis were acting funny as well.. they were pretty protective on my power head and wont let any thing get near it. When I took a closer look at it. here is what I found..

This the first for me..so I'm pretty excited.. My wife and i been trying th have a baby and I guess.. this is it..

That's pretty cool. Good luck with them. No matter what, that is great for your tank.

I'll try to seperate the egg and place them in my 24 gal nano. But i have to catch the fishes in my nano first..

Hopefully it wont stress the coral and parents..I'll try my best to keep it alive..

I've had my chromis spawn many many times, however I never attempted to raise them.. of course they may not even have been fertilized, however the way one swooped over and over afterwards made me think they were putting the seed to the field.. but who knows, good luck with your venture.

Yeah, this is the second time the chromis spawned. Ater a few days, all the eggs disappeared.

But this is the first for my clown fishes.

I'm sure lots of people cross breed true perc with false before. But keping he babies is another thing..

You have to wait and use a flash light to catch those little criters at night when they hatched. Winklefingers knows alot about this, so you might want to ask him for some pointers

My clownfishes have been spawning non stop since March but I hevent atemped to raise the fries yet ... its a tough task.

I have an RBTA also, I have MH lighting, and I have 3 colot variations. So go figure. Congrats though ED. Getting the eggs is an accomplishment all on it's own.

Jerome,

Dude.. they all hatched last night.. and none of the babies live too see daylight.. looks like all the fishes got it first..

I'm setting up a nano this weekend, in case they lay more eggs.. next time, i'll isolate them..

But the chromis layed eggs again.. this time is on my cleaning magnet..
