Immediate Help
I was transporting my tank home from college. Here is the issue...during a two hour drive, the temperature dropped from 82 degrees to 72 degrees. Is this a problem because everything looks small and shriveled. Did I lose my entire coral collection: ricordea, mushrooms, kenya tree, etc.
Please answer ASAP with any suggestions on how to reconcile the issue. Thanks

Hello
72, not bad, get em inside and slowly warm them up as you work on getting the aquarium settled.

yup... just treat it as an acclimation... hopefully everything pulls through

Should not be a problem at all; some folks are keeping their tank temps down to 76-78 normally. They are probably all upset from the move more than anything; plus, this is not an uncommon range of temp during transport.

Agreed, you should be fine, just bring them back up to temp slowly and they should pull through fine...

I would do a slow drip acclimation. Over the course of a few hours get things to match. Turn off the lights till tomorrow.
