Atlantis Aquarium's Cyphastrea ocellina frag. It's awesome, and grows fairly quickly.

Peace,

Chip

Well Chip, looks like you are on a nice road of recovery of fine corals. Love the way you named the pics, all I have to do is look at the properties to confirm what they are.

Is that favia going to stay that color or turn red?

Wonderful close ups.

Thanks for the compliments!

It's supposed to be Atlantis' cherry red favia, but it seems to be more of a plum color with red centers. I like the color it's at now, and hope it doesn't change.

BTW, they seem to have removed this frag from their list. I wonder if they retired it...

Peace,

Chip

Yoshi, is your frag the same as mine? If different, I'd be up for a trade around the end of the year, myself. I'm trying to locate some more morphs of it, as well.

Peace,

Chip

jen- yeah, it's an awesome photo(it took quite a bit of self constraint to go grab the camera rather than pull the corals off one another!)...but i'm still ****ed that it happened. damn turbo snails.

mar- yeah, i ended up losing the whole piece...after the acan attack(it was actually the cyphastreas fault...a turbo knocked it off it's glued down spot and it fell directly onto the acan) the cyph did well for a day or so and then i woke up the next morning and it was nothing but skeleton. =*( at least i have a picture to show how perty the piece was.
