Bubble Coral Reproduction
Hello all,
Here are a few photos of my bubble coral reproducing. I have had this coral for about two years and it has doubled in size from the purchase date. It even packs a pretty good sting when touched! This tissue began at the base of the corals mouth and slowly started to elongate until it detached. The mass at the top almost looked like an egg. Eventually the tissue released from the coral and is somewhere in my tank to form another colony. Just thought you all would be interested in some weird looking reproduction. |

Sweet pics do you have any of the full bubble. Glad to hear that it is doing well for you.

Thanks Aquaguru. Yes, I do have a few pics of the entire bubble coral. If you check out my gallery you can see it on there. It is an earlier version of the same bubble.
