an ID if Possible (i thinks it favia)

Hi
Just wondering everyones thoughts of an ID on this open brain
Got it since it seemed unusual to find multiple colors and varieties on the same piece (is this as unusual as I think?)

Sorry for the color quality but my T5 actinic is on order.

Also once we have an ID need to know best regimin of care. This is a 24G nano so it is getting every other week water changes and currently no dosing of trace or extra calcium. This is the first Hard coral in this tank.

currently 72watts of PC 50/50 and a 12watt T5 actinic on its way.
favia(at least thats my guess) is placed 4-5inches below surface in what should bea good flow area.
Currently just started feeding DT's every other day feeder tentacles open as soon as I add the DT's and fully open at night(second feeding will be today). Can I also use cyclopees in a baster to feed as an alternating diet or is it too big?

Nice piece, its not called an open brain, but a closed one.

I am not sure of how unusual, but it is great at how strong of a contrast it is.

have not really seen it grab and draw any of the food in. Opens every night and looks nice and furry. doesnt even seem to pull feeders back in if I cloud DT's or Cyclopees over it (opens even more) I want to make sure its is fed properly. How can I know it is happy?

Hey,

I got the same piece. Not really sure what it is though. The eat, tentacles comes out when they can sense food in the system. I just feed them chopped shrimp, the pieces is big enough for them to grab and swallow.

Here's one side of it.
