Thanks guys.

Foselone the zoes are actually a blue and mauve colour but the way I take photos they look purple all over. They come from north western Australia.

Brewen
The tank itself is only three months old all the rock was salvaged from my 6x2x2 that sprung a leak (boss lady was not impressed).

Its a shape that had to fit an unused corner

Completed it looks like this

Inside the cabinet is a 250 litre rubbermaid tub which acts as a sump holding 200 litres of water.
Return pump is an Oceanrunner 3500
tank circulation
2 x Tunze 12000
2 x Koralia 1500

Skimmer is a Turboflotor 1000
Rowa Phos reactor powered by 400 litre pump
Carbon reactor holding 1 litre of activated carbon powered by a 500 litre pump
Koralin calcium reactor

Lighting
2 x 250MH SE Reef Lux 12000K in luminarc reflectors (10.30 AM-9.00PM)
2 x 2Ft T5 umits with twin tubes 10.00AM - 9.30PM.

Water param:
Calcium 450
Mg 1650 approx
Ph 8.1 - 8.3
Gravity 1.025
Salinity 33 - 35
Alkalinity 7KH
Temp 24 - 28C
Ammonia undetectable
Nitrates undetectable
Phosphates 0.0 - 0.03

I have just changed to Red Sea Pro Salt mixed in RO water, although we are blessed with lots of ocean water the collectors could not guarantee where they would get their water and I found that some batches of 1000 litres that they delivered varied drasticlly in quality.

I only have 5 fish
1 x Bristlemouth Tang
1 x Foxface
3 x Ocellaris in a Purple Magnifica anamone

2 x Peppermint Shrimp

Corals are mainly SPS with 4 acans and a couple open brains
All are from Western Australian and Queensland waters as we can not import corals.

Regards
Chris (Poppie)
