Cleaner shrimp missing!
I ordered him from liveaquaria and got him tuesday. Aclimated him to the tank and watched him for 5 min. After that I had to go. Got back at like 6 he was gone. I still havent found him! Is he dead?

Yea, he's gone and the Royal Gramma is the murderer. My cleaner lasted two hours til lights out. The next morning--no shrimp and a visibly fatter Gramma, like close to twice his normal size. $28 snack. Sorry for your loss....

It took my lionfish about 8 months to finally eat mine...lol

I wouldnt bet it is dead. Ive had them go missing for about a week. Do you have a lot of rock? Usually when they molt you wont see them for a few days...they chill out in some unseen part of rockwork. Also, they are not a big fan of light. Give it at least a week before you can say for sure.

My peppermints disappear for weeks on end hiding in/behind the rocks. Don't write it off just yet.
