Do Sea Hares burrow? Hide?
Had mine for 3 days. Cannot find him anywhere and he has been out constantly. Did not get sucked up anywhere. Do they burrow? I have CC substrate and was wondering if he might be under it somewhere? Has anyone had experience with their habits?

They do burrow in sand to sleep, at least mine did. I have also seen them wedge in a coral or between some rocks. Some people say they are more nocturnal, but mine was always out in the day time. It was the best algae eater I had, but luckily I don't need him anymore and gave it back to the LSF. HTH

Im on my second, due to a powerhead accident.
The new one seems to burrow for days, then all of a sudden gets up and eats everything in sight. Like a 14 year old boy. |

I just added one last Friday and they do kind of burrow/hedge agaisnt LR, mine blends in with the rocks, really hard to find. I've notice that as soon as the lights goes off stops moving/blends in until the next day, then starts working around 4pm, let me tell you the one I have it's a horse I actually watched it eat HA, and clean a rock in a matter of minutes, happy about that! I with it will work longer that only 7 hrs a day . It's about 4" big. I had one before with the same kind of behaivor but too bad it got caught in a PH. It did clean a 55G in a few weeks. I'll see how long this one takes to clean the 125G. Good luck with yours.
