Setting up 125
Hello just a few ???
I am setting up a 125gal main not drilled and a 55gal sump. My sump i was going to have three section either (Skimmer>Refugium > Return) or ( Skimmer> Return< Refugium) not to sure which will be better?? Going to use a "mag12" for my return and a "cpr102" for a overflow. I was thinking about using "Euroreef RS135" for my skimmer. Any suggestion on a better setup or differant equimpment would be great. Thanks TankZombie |

Go skimmer/fuge/return and You can`t go wrong with a Euro-Reef skimmer. One of the best IMHO.Sounds like You are on the right track to Me.

I'd recommend a U tube style overflow over a CPR. People have problems with those, and that's why people use aqualifters. Just skip the bs and get a U tube. Check out Lifereef for a good one.
I've also hear good things about the oceanrunner pumps for a comparable price to the mag.

So should I go with a mag12 or larger or smaller pump? Will it be to much flow through the fuge section?

I run a mag 7 on both of my 125 gallon tanks. I never have problems with a mag. Good luck.

As far as a skimmer goes I have an Octopus nw200 on my 125 with a 90 gallon sump and I have 0 nitrates. It always produces a nice deep junk/
