Beautiful photos and a very nice tank!

I take it you have no issues with the angels and corals? Very interesting!

NICE TANK!!!!
That clown trigger doesn't bother any corals or inverts? It looks cool in a reef.

Hi,

Thanks for the nice comments. Its setup as a semi room divider with 3 sides viewable. So far the angels and trigger are model citizens.

You have a really great looking tank. I love the aquascaping. Oh yeah your pics are awesome! How long have you had the trigger and how big is he?

The tank has been up and running since september 2006. Its an upgrade from a 80 gallon. I use no zeovit or hormones. The clown trigger is 3 inches long. Im aware of that its a ticking bomb ready to explode without a warning, so it will be moved to a more suitable tank once it gets bigger. This fish is amazing

Here are the specs for the tank

225 gallon with starphire. 80*30*24 inches. Sump 40 gallon.
3x 250 watt hqi 14.5K Giesemann
4x 80 watt T5 2xActinic Plus/2x Actinic Pure
2x Tunze stream 6200
2x Tunze stream 6000
Deltec AP1004 skimmer
Deltec P601S calcreactor
Deltec KM500S kalkwasser stirrer
Deltec FR509 Rowaphos reactor
Deltec 8070 returnpump
39 watt T5 UV
Sander Ozoniser 50
LR aprox 110 kg

This is the most amazing tank I have ever seen but what impresses me the most is how well the plumping and current pumps are hidden.

Can you provied some pics of that side of the tank?

Can we see underneath?

What is the name of the Purple coral that is tightly bunched?

Thanks,
Goose

Hi!

I got 2 Tunze Stream pumps on each side of the overflow. The aquarium has been covered so they cant be seen when viewing from the side. You can see them on the second picture.

This coral ? It is an acropora echinata

Hello,

Excuse me I use a translator.

I live in France and I find your aquarium sublime, I have some questions to pose to you, I would like to know if you add trace elements for your corals, then I see three pipes which descent on the technical part has what serves the third?

Then a small criticism if I can allow it is your technical part, it is the provisional one or the final one, because that surprises, considering the rigor of your aquarium.

Still cheer, for your fabulous vat and the beauty of your fish.

The left pipe is the return from sump. The middle a durso standpipe. The one to the right has an intake an inch higher than the durso, so if the durso gets clogged the right one will prevent the tank from overflowing.

I add Kent strontium, Sallifert Coralline Aminoacids and Tropic Marine Pro-Coral elements A- and k+.

The sump is far from finnished. Its a total mess. lol

Got some new pictures I thought id share.

I had to take out the clown trigger. Model citizen for a week, then he started eating serpent stars and taking bites of acropora.
