How many fish?

My new tank I'm building is 24"x18"x20" and about 35 gallons and I was wondering how many fish can I have in this tank? I only want super small fish ,like max 1.5". And what do you pro recommend for a reef tank, there are so many out there I'm a little overwhelmed.

I just got this guy for 25 gal. Won't get too large. I may get 1 more fish, a yashia goby or something small like that.

Also consider getting Scott W. Michael's Pocket Guide to Reef Aquarium Fishes.

If you're going with all super small fish, I say 5-6 would be a good number.

sounds good to me. I'll get 5 because there will be only a little LR on one side as it will be a very very artsy coral fish tank and will have a even larger display fuge to support the bioload.

this is my tank design

yes, tailspot. It's got gorgeous color. Very cool looking when it actually comes all the way out so the spot is visible, but so far it has taken residence behind the duncans. Only pops out to grab food.
