Mystery Coral

Hey guys, got a coral at work today that I am not really familiar with. It was mislabeled on the invoice from the wholesaler as a red pavona (wrong) but the bag itself was labeled as a capircornis. Anyone have an ID on this for me? I took it home, cause its unique, and I assume it needs strong lighting and flow. Any info is much appreciated.

Just a guess, but maybe Montastrea? Or something like a Favia?

I was thinking maybe Montastrea possibly, but I really don't have a lot of experience identifying them. We also got a green one as well.

It is a motastria and it needs moderate to strong light with moderate to strong flow.

Looks like it might be Pavona maldivenis or Oculina.

Pavona maldivenis, not looking too hot though...

Seen a few of them around in the last few weeks. Until my heater decided it didn't want to turn off, the one i picked up lit up like crazy under actinics.

I would agree on pavona maldiveness, the color looks a little washed out from similar pieces i've seen.

unfortunately, thats the condition in came in as if thats the case, but I am up for the challenge of turning it around if so. I assume it polyps out? Yes/no? Also, let me get a non-washed out color photo.
