LOL, hammerswinger, that's what everybody says, and they don't know the half of it!

racerw, there appears to be some nipping, my thoughts about it are posted on page four of this thread (congrats on the trio BTW, I'd love to set up a group, but the tank is too small)....

Thanks again for the complements!

Wow you have some killer frags in there. What are you gonna do when you graduate though? I got lazy this year and just left my 29G at my house when I came back from studying abroad.

Thanks!

Actually, my tank is at home too. It would have been too difficult to move a tank that size down to LA, so my family just keeps it running, and I go up every once in a while to do water changes and make sure everything is running smoothly. My GF has been keeping it safe for me

After I graduate, I'll get a real job, then it'll be time for an upgrade

Dude, Throw up a FTS of that Dart tank. I'm also into amphibians. Though I've never attempted to keep darts.

hceiv,
I know I'm resurrecting an old post but where did you find a bunch of single polyp acans at one time? You just made me want to start up a nano again! amazing tanks.

Hi beemer,

Thanks! I appreciate the compliment and resurrection.

I've recieved nearly all of my acan lords from Mike at thecaptivereef.com. I went through many vendors, but the captive reef blows them all away hands down. Don't waste your time or money, go straight to the best

The tank has taken on a new look. I had to move all of my lps, including all acans, to a separate tank because the two pygmy resplendent/fisheri hybrids have developed a taste for them Really unfortunate because I don't think some morphs will recover, but at least now they are safe from pickers.

Here's a semi recent photo of the tank. Now it has turned into an aquarium exhibiting my first love, ricordeas!

More updates coming soon, stay tuned, it'll be a sight to see for sure.......

Everything changes and affects everything. (pratitya samutpada)

Newest developments are an Elos System 70:

And an Elos System 120XL:

The custom 20 is still active (see in background through system 70's glass), but is more of a holding tank for acans. The rics have moved to the system 70. The 120xl will be sps.

More information can be found on the Elos system 70 here:

More information can be found on the Elos system 120XL here:

I'd like to keep this thread as a historical archive rather than a day by day journal, so updates will come as major changes ensue...

Thank you. Phishy Business, Reef Gardener, Caribbean Corallimorph, and Coral Fanatics are my favorites, but I'm sure there are many more quality dealers...
