I have some GSP that I can bring too and my frags are *dirt cheap*... as in FREE! (it is a swap, not a sale!) and maybe a few other things (a few raffle donation items, some other frags?, and something no swap should be without... some cold frosty beverages).

Carl.... I would love a piece of that blue acro

A message from the MASVC prez.

Well the F.R.A.G. swap is just a few days away. I wanted to take a quick moment to put out a few words.

First and foremost, I want to give a big thanks to Bill, Dave, and Brad who have done the majority of the leg work and running around to get this swap going and making it all happen. You guys are great and I think Brad or Bill should take over for me as Prez.

Second I want to thank everyone who is coming out and participating in the swap. I’m saying this here as I may not get around to meet all of you and say thanks, so I’m doing it here now that way I don’t miss anyone. A big thanks also goes out to the local fish stores that we have invited to participate. They help support our club in various ways and as such, we try to support them as well.

I hope that all who attend enjoy the swap and walk away with something interesting. It is our goal to make this an enjoyable swap similar to the swaps of old. So there should be something for everyone. WE are still working on a few more surprises but you’ll have to be there to find out about them.

From the looks of this thread, there will be plenty of nice corals to score on as well as equipment so hope to see a lot of people there. Enjoy the swap.

Ray
MASVC Prez.

Thanks Ray.

As far as the president thing goes...

I enjoy my current position as Vice President of Staplers and Duct Tape too much to make that move to the top.

Personally, I am too busy conducting club research at the local tuna hut (Spearmint Rhino) to fill your shoes. I would love to, but the future of too many fish require my assistance and well, I am a giver. Someone has to keep them in school.

And thanks... Bill and Dave are the big fish here, I am just around to make sure the toilets and lettuce are nice and clean at the F.R.A.G. Swap.

Also... I want to also say thanks to everyone that has helped us get this going, will help us at the swap, and finally all of you that show up, as without attendees, we'd not be successful.

** Well, I guess I might be. There would be a lot of frags with no one to take them home and I could not let that happen. I would feel so bad for all the orphaned frags. **

P.S. The common help (toilet and lettuce scrubber) does accept tips, frags and beer are the preferable methods.

OK looks like we willhave a special little prize for the person who travels the fartherest to attend the sawp. You will have to sign up when you get here and show proof of your address where you came from. I know there are people talking about driving up from TJ and also driving down from Sactown, so it looks like the challenge is out there.

You will have to be present to receive your prize, no purchase necessary. Just our way of saying thanksfor traveling so far to attend.

This should be interesting!

And its great to see that you guys fear the wrath of my wife enough not to nominate me for Prez. I do appreciate that.

The way it looks now, we may have several VP's and no figure-head. Hmph.

lowbudget,
You'll be fine. It's Brad the toilet washer that I'm worried about.

By the way Brad, I hear you've been hanging out around Venus.

Cool! We thought you bailed on the hobby for a while. What sort of glue do you need? PVC? Weld-on? Silicon?

Tisk, tisk. Letting a woman do that to you? Hmm... maybe we should elect her!
