hypo salinity and eels

Hi,

I know you can't use hypo salinity with sharks and rays... but what about a zebra eel? Has anyone tried this or know of any information on this?

Thank you!

I had my zebra Moray in Hypo 1.009 with copper sulphate treatment for over 2 months.

I've housed numerous species of eels (Including the Gymnomuranea zebra you mentioned) in salinities as low as 18ppt long-term without incident. Have treated tanks that contained eels (Gymnothorax funebris, G. vicinus) at 15ppt for 30 days, for what it's worth
