240 redo- what about Wavy sea on returns?

240 has been ignored but now trying to get it back in shape and better. Rockwork will now be two floating islands on PVC platforms for more flow around them. I have used a pair of Tunze 6100s for years and love them. The new return pump is a Dart that I am considering using two Wavy Sea devices-one on each return behind the islands. This should create random flow into the rockwork and decrease detritus build up combined with the Tunze. Has anyone had experience with Wavy Seas? The idea sounds great and they handle more flow than the Sea Swirl. I will not have a closed loop or I might consider OM, so Wavy Sea is one option. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I use 2 wavyseas on my 225 from my return(1200gph) & 2 Tunze 6101s. Works great, no dead spots in the tank. I have mine in the center(longways) spaced 2ft apart mounted to the cross bracing. Tank is a pennisula & I have them rotating 360deg. I had them on my 120g before the same way. 1 is about 2 years old & other is maybe 1 year old with no problems at all. You will have to drill to keep from causing an siphon during times when pumps are shut off. I tried running 2 1200gph pumps & it was just way too much for my sump to handle so I went with the Tunzes, the Wavyseas handled the flow with no problem.
