Time for new bulbs. Help please

Hello all,

I am currently battling a nasty hair algae outbreak.

All parms are good. Lighting is about 12 mo old.

I am currently running
2x250w 14k hams
2x110w power vhos
2x110w atintic 03s

I have to believe my hair algae can be partly blamed on lighting since it is growing where most light is present(top of the tank).

I have liked the color of the MH bulbs but see little growth for my corals. I am thinking about getting 2 10k XM's.

Thoughts?

Best Regards,
Jason

I enjoy my xm 10k's! Friends who have them have had great growth....The other which i hear raves on is the Reeflux 12k.....might look into that one too!

I just changed from Reeflux 12K's to Phoenix 14K"s. I wanted just a skosh bit more blue. I got alot more blue than I wanted...although I am waiting for the burnin period to give me some more white.
