VHO ballast question...

Ok so i have a decently old ARO VHO setup, 4x110s. The lights went out last monday so i figured that one of the bulbs burnt out. I went ahead and ordered the new bulbs and changed them out. Still they would not fire. So now i have to assume that the ballast is shot. Is there a way to repair or at least diagnose the problem? Or would it be easiest to just replace the ballast? Another question is are all VHO ballast equipped with a universal end for the harness? i dont exactly want to replace all the wires from the harness to the endcaps... any help is appreciated as always.
